Amritsar, June 14
A three-day pulse polio migratory round will begin June 16.
Alka Kalia, Assistant Commissioner, while presiding over the meeting of district task force, informed that 1,27,083 children between the age group of 0 to 5 years would be administered polio drops.
She said anganwadi, Asha workers and nursing college students would go house to house to administer the drops. Special booths will be set up at IST and railway station.
District Vaccination Officer Rameshpal said 689 teams would administer drops in 2,35,611 houses of the city. In addition, 127 supervisors will look after the entire drive. — TNS
