Daughter of the Bin, a critically acclaimed play, attempted to show mirror to society where a girl child has to face challenges right from being born to the rest of her life. A Punjab Natshala home production, the play, written by Shiromani Natakkar Jatinder Brar, has been staged the world over and adapted in other languages as well.
The play starts in a public park where someone has thrown away a baby girl in a dustbin. At the end, the play insists that no issues can be resolved alone. A community effort is required to conquer such social evils and religion could be a buffer.The two-hour play kept the audiences thinking and fresh.
