Pickpockets nabbed at Golden Temple

AMRITSAR: Devotees nabbed two pickpockets at the Golden Temple here on Monday. The accused have been identified as Manga of Bhikhiwind village and Rohit Rai, a resident of Joura Fatak Bille Wala Chowk.

Devotees nabbed two pickpockets at the Golden Temple here on Monday. The accused have been identified as Manga of Bhikhiwind village and Rohit Rai, a resident of Joura Fatak Bille Wala Chowk.

The complainant, Mandeep Singh, said he was queued up outside a cold drink stall near Guru Ram Das inn, when the accused snatched his wallet. Mandeep raised an alarm, following which people nabbed the accused on the spot and the police were called. A case has been registered under Sections 379-B and 34 of the IPC. — TNS
