School Education Minister OP Soni on Saturday informed a gathering a recently issued notification regarding regularisation of the services of SSA, RMSA and 5,178 teachers and reduction of their probation period from three to two years.

To meet other demands of the teachers, a high-level committee has also been constituted, who will submit its report within three months to the Cabinet to take further decision. Soni also assured that the services of non-teaching employees will also be regularised. Soni was the chief guest at a local school’s event.

Talking about board exams, he said, “Cheating has been curbed completely and flying squads, under the supervision of education secretary, DPI and other officials, are working round the clock to stop the use of unfair means during exams.” He also ruled out the possibility of leakage of papers on social media.
