TV School Foundation, an NGO, for the betterment of those children who are not able to afford their educational expenses, will begin Guru Nanak Dev Evening Study Centre in villages.

Santokh Singh Aujla, founder of the TV School Foundation, said, “Students in villages are deprived of quality education. They can’t afford costly tuitions in the cities. We are going to provide substitute of tuition centers with Guru Nanak Dev Evening Study Centers in villages”.

The NGO has been teaching students of IX to XII classes in maths, English and science subjects through DTH TV channel and mobile application since 2007.

“We will provide basic infrastructure in villages for evening centres on minimal charges. There is provision in MPLAD fund to provide such setups. Panchayats and councillors should make efforts to open such centres”, said Aujla.

Office-bearers claimed that they had prepared a separate syllabus for the IELTS and of NDA examinations.
