Nostalgia, bonhomie mark alumni meet at DAV school

Around 200 former students of DAV International School attended the alumni meet here on Friday.

The invocation lamp was lighted by the Principal, Anjana Gupta, accompanied by some of the alumni. The programme propelled further with enthralling musical performances by the school choir. The principal, overwhelmed by the gathering, welcomed the school alumni with open arms and heart. She wished everyone good luck for the years to come and blessed them with powers to overpower the transient apprehensions and with the dint of courage and patience keep heading in to the bright future and forwarding the legacy of excellence to the next generation of students. Alumni like Harshil Madan, Harsidak, Mayank and Vishesh Chhabra shared their experiences about how the school had helped and equipped them with professional cutting edge. The alumni, having birthdays in December, were honoured with planters.

Some fun games were also organised to entertain the pass out students. The head boy of school, Shehraaz, extended vote of thanks to the gathering. The alumni went round the school and appreciated the new development in terms of new constructions and additions like shooting range, meeting hall, cafeteria, language labs, etc.

The alumni revived and rejuvenated their old memories and moments with their old friends that lit up their faces with beautiful divine smiles and later on they shared their post-school life events.
