According to information, he had allegedly gone to meet his girlfriend. Area residents beat him black and blue and later removed all his cloths. He was forced to apologise and later sent him back naked on his bike. Though the victim and his family members did not inform the police, the Amritsar rural police took cognisance of the incident and started a probe.
