HC judge interacts with jail inmates

TARN TARAN: Justice Raj Mohan Singh, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, on the last day of his two-day visit to the district courts, visited the Patti jail on Saturday.

Justice Raj Mohan Singh, Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, on the last day of his two-day visit to the district courts, visited the Patti jail on Saturday. He interacted with jail inmates and issued directions for the redressal of their grievances.

District and Sessions Judge Harpreet Kaur Randhawa, along with other district officials, accompanied the HC judge. The judge also tasted the meal of the jail kitchen. The lawyers of the district, under the leadership of Shamsher Singh Kang, president District Bar Association, met him and brought to his notice their problems regarding lawyer’s chambers for their new associate advocates.
