A 15-year-old girl has been allegedly raped by a youth in Baba Bakala Sahib here. The victim used to work as a domestic help at the residence of the accused. The incident came to light when she complained of stomach pain and found pregnant.

The accused has been identified as Lovepreet Singh (22), a resident of Tehsil Complex in Baba Bakala. His father is a patwari.

According to information, the victim stayed at the residence of the accused as a domestic help. She alleged that the sexual assault had been taking place for past six months. “Whenever I was alone at home, he forced me to make physical relations. He had been threatened to eliminate me in case I told anyone about it,” she said.
