Meritorious schools’ counselling from May 27

The counselling for admission in meritorious schools will begin from May 27.

The district education officers have been instructed to ensure counselling as per the directions of the Education Department. The school is located at Attari-Verka Bypass on 10 acres land leased out by Guru Nanak Dev University. Meritorious students from economically backward status are to study in the school, which has 500 seats for three different streams, including 100 for medical, 300 for non-medical and 100 for commerce. — TNS
