Medico comes up with poetry book

A woman of both science and imagination, Dr Seema Grewal, an ayurvedic doctor and a poet, believes in balancing both the aspects perfectly. “I feel that both are important for nourishing your body and soul,” she says.

Releasing her debut book, a compilation of Hindi poetry titled Sadali Sargoshian, Grewal shares that poetry has been her food for soul.

“I had a penchant for writing since childhood. The book captures my experiences, my dreams and observations of life through poetic verses. I have also dubbed an audio version of my book for people, who cannot read or are interested in listening to the poems.” She was among prominent poets taking part in the Urdu poetry convention held recently at Art Gallery. “One has to look for innovative ways to promote the quality literary and creative content and so the book has also been released with an audio version.” — TNS
