Kunal brings laurels in games for hearing impaired

AMRITSAR: A hearing impaired student of DAV Red Cross School for Special Children, Kunal Sharma, brought laurels to the institution and his parents by winning gold medal in the long jump in the National Junior and Sub-Junior Games.

A hearing impaired student of DAV Red Cross School for Special Children, Kunal Sharma, brought laurels to the institution and his parents by winning gold medal in the long jump in the National Junior and Sub-Junior Games.

These games were held in Chennai last week. The tournaments were organised by the All India Sports Council for hearing impaired. Players from 233 states participated in the games. The star performer was selected for national games after winning silver medal in the long jump and bronze in the 200 metre race in Punjab State Games for hearing impaired held in Patiala in December 2018. — TNS
