Amritsar, December 12

Karamjit Singh Khaira, who assumed charge of the Chief Engineer of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (Border Range) yesterday, stressed on consumer-convenient services. He succeeded NK Gandhi, who superannuated recently.

Addressing a meeting of officials here today, Khaira said he would lay more stress on minimum footfall of people at PSPCL offices by ensuring quality services and swift redress of their complaints. Similarly, replacement of erroneous transformers and meters would be ensured within the given time frame.

For this, he said priority would be given to resolving complaints of power snags and repairs of power transmission facilities.

Among others, deputy chief engineer (Amritsar city circle) Amrik Singh, deputy chief engineer (Sub-Urban Circle Amritsar) Pradeep Kumar Saini, superintending engineer (Gurdaspur circle) Ajay Sharma and superintending engineer (Tarn Taran) Sakattar Singh Dhillon were present at the meeting.
