Girl ends life in Kot Khalsa

Amritsar, May 22

Parveen Kaur (16), a resident of Kot Khalsa, committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room here today. 

Her parents, who used to work as vegetable vendors, had gone to vegetable market for procuring vegetables. When they returned, they found the girl hanging. The police has initiated action under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and further investigations were under progress. — TNS
