Free dispensary at AIWC office

The Fortis Charitable Foundation today opened a dispensary at the office of the All India Women’s Conference located at Sharifpura here.

The foundation is already running two successful dispensaries at the Golden Temple and Durgiana temple.

The dispensary was inaugurated by Dr Pinak Moudgil, Facility Director, Fortis Escorts Hospital and Rajni Bhrany, president, All India Women’s Conference.

An OPD will be run by specialists of Fortis Escorts Hospital for two hours, every Tuesday and Saturday, said Dr Pinak Moudgill. Free medicines would be dispensed at the facility, he added.

Dr Moudgill said the Fortis Charitable Foundation runs three programmes— ‘Aanchal’ for the health and well-being of mother and child; ‘Sewa’ for the provision of medical support in the event of a disaster and enabling charitable medical infrastructure; and ‘Savera for creating and supporting open platforms for healthcare information.
