The MC removed encroachments from various roads in the city here on Wednesday. A team, led by the estate officer, removed encroachment from a dispensary in Basant Avenue. A local godman had occupied the MC land 10 years ago by constructing a temple. Apart from this, the MC team visited a toilet in Gol Bagh and warned the encroachers to vacate, or face action. The MC seized vends, generators and goods from Gol Bagh, station road, Pull Porrian, MC workshop road, Hall Gate, Ram Bagh and Majitha road. — TNS
