Doctors’ stir at govt hospitals

TARN TARAN: Doctors at the government-run hospitals, under the banner of the local district unit of the Punjab Civil Medical Services (PCMS) Association, protested at the civil hospital and dispensaries in the district to show solidarity with the agitating doctors of West Bengal.

TARN TARAN: Doctors at the government-run hospitals, under the banner of the local district unit of the Punjab Civil Medical Services (PCMS) Association, protested at the civil hospital and dispensaries in the district to show solidarity with the agitating doctors of West Bengal. Dr Jaspreet Singh, district president of the association, said, “Besides Tarn Taran, doctors in Patti, Ghariala, Khemkaran, Khadoor Sahib and other cities and towns too staged protests.” The protesting doctors warned that in case the agitating doctors in West Bengal aren’t given justice, they will intensify their nationwide agitation. They demanded security for doctors. OC
