A delegation of Jalandhar diocese today met Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh to express their dismay over the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib at Bhangawa village for which a Christian youth was arrested.

The delegation was sent by Jalandhar Diocese Bishop Franco Mulakkal and Father Peter. Leader of the visiting delegation, Amandeep Gill, adviser to the catholic bishop, expressed anguish over the case. The Akal Takht Jathedar said there was a need for harmonious relations between all religions and thanked the visiting delegation for their concerns.
