The Bank of India (BOI) celebrated its 114th foundation day at the zonal office here on Saturday. A medical check-up camp was organised at the zonal office in association with Amandeep Medicity for the benefit of customers and staff members of local branches. More than 50 persons donated blood at a camp organised by the bank.

Vasu Dev, zonal manager, Amritsar, apprised the customers about various loan schemes on attractive rates. He also elaborated bank’s role in providing financial assistance to Stand-Up India Scheme. The bank sanctioned and disbursed loans for setting up new businesses, industry, car, home, education and personal requirements. Bank officials also opened savings and current accounts and issued credit cards, debit cards and POS machines for cashless transactions. — TNS
