A person was killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at Bhaririwal on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Harpreet Singh, a resident of Angarh area.
Vasan Singh, in his complaint to the Gate Hakima police, said, he along with his wife and his nephews, Harpreet Singh and Jagroop Singh, were returning from market on two bikes. When they reached near Bhaririwal, a speeding motorcyclist hit the bike of Harpreet Singh, which left him and Jagroop seriously injured. Harpreet was admitted to the Civil Hospital where he died. A case under Sections 279,337,338, 304-A and 427 of the IPC has been registered in this regard. — TNS
