A special carnival of dance and music was organised as a part of Baisakhi celebrations at Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sultanwind Link Road, on Saturday.

Dr Santokh Singh, president, Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society, was the chief guest. Members in-charge of the school Navdeep Singh and Randeep Singh, Principal Amarjeet Kaur extended floral welcome to the chief guest.

Dr Santokh Singh apprised the students of the cultural and religious importance of the festival. He also inspired students to be in touch with the rich Punjabi traditions and culture. — TNS
