Art students get tips to make creative sculptures

AMRITSAR: A workshop of sculpture-making was held at the Art Gallery by the Indian Academy of Fine Arts. Attended by art students and amateur artists, the workshop was conducted by prominent sculptor OP Verma with the assistance of Narinder Singh and Sanjay Kumar.

A workshop of sculpture-making was held at the Art Gallery by the Indian Academy of Fine Arts. Attended by art students and amateur artists, the workshop was conducted by prominent sculptor OP Verma with the assistance of Narinder Singh and Sanjay Kumar.

Verma displayed various techniques to the students of summer art camp for making murals and sculptures using different materials.

Indian Academy of Fine Arts president RMS Chinna, too, attended the workshop, learning and trying his hand at making a sculpture of a girl present in the audience.

Members present during the workshop included, Dr PS Grover, Arvinder Singh Chamak, TK Singh, Atul Mehra, Kulwant Singh Gill, Kawal Sehgal and Karamjit Singh.
