30 units collected at blood donation camp

AMRITSAR: To commemorate the martyrdom of Chaar Sahibzaade of Dasham Pathshahi Guru Gobind Singh, CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) organised a blood donation camp in association with Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society (BGJMS), here today.

To commemorate the martyrdom of Chaar Sahibzaade of Dasham Pathshahi Guru Gobind Singh, CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) organised a blood donation camp in association with Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society (BGJMS), here today.

More than 30 students and faculty members voluntarily came forward to donate blood. As many as 30 units of blood were collected during the camp.

BGJMS chairman Manjit Singh presided over the camp.

In a separate programme, Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sultanwind Link Road, celebrated the martyrdom week of Chaar Sahibzade. Inderjeet Kaur, president of All-India Pingalwara Society, was the chief guest.

Grandparents of the students also reached on the occasion. Members in-charge and principal thanked the guests for attending the event.
