APKF holds ‘Sikh Youth Think Fest’

A city-based Sikh religious organisation — Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj (APKF) — conducted ‘Sikh Youth Think Fest’ at Dera Baba Nanak town on Sunday.

The youth think festival commenced after performance of ‘ardas’ (prayer). Former Jathedar Giani Kewal Singh delivered the welcome address. He exhorted Sikh youth to live their life according to the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib. This way, they would maintain their heritage and build upon it community’s future, he said.

Gurdharan Singh delivered a motivational lecture on the occasion and motivated youngsters with religious and scientific examples.

Baba Rajinder Singh Bedi, “a descendent of Guru Nanak Dev”, was felicitated by the Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj on the occasion.
