An annual convocation was organised at Government Dental College and Hospital here today. Graduates and postgraduates of last five years were conferred degrees on the occasion.

Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice-Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, attended the function as chief guest and conferred degrees on students. Speaking on the occasion he said the completion of academic degree was the first milestone of a very long roadmap of learning that lies ahead.

He asked students not to stop learning as medical field required regular studying due to new techniques being developed every day.

Principal, Dr Vimal Sikri, said the college magazine, ‘Sadhaar’ was released on the occasion. He said the Government Dental College was a premier institute in the field of dental science and it had produced renowned doctors.
