Agreement inked with Thai university

AMRITSAR: Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC), Amritsar, has signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand, to provide certification and multi-skill programmes for students and help the college align its curriculum with information technology (IT) trends.

Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC), Amritsar, has signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand, to provide certification and multi-skill programmes for students and help the college align its curriculum with information technology (IT) trends.

The MoU was signed by Dr Thaweesak Yingthawornsuk, professor and head, department of media technology, and Dr VK Banga, principal, ACET, sealed the commitment of two organisations to provide state of the art industry education.

The MoU envisages special lectures, a project bank for students, with the goal of enhancing student skills and employability. The students of AGC will interact with experts from KMUTT. The relationship will also help align AGC curriculum with IT industry standards and technology trends.

Speaking at the event, Thaweesak Yingthawornsuk said, “The objective of MoU with AGC is to promote effective learning practices that enable students to develop their inquisitiveness and technical expertise.”—TNS
