3 CKIDMT students get placed with Oppo Mobiles

MBA students of CKD Institute of Management & Technology (CKDIMT), Amritsar, got lucrative job offers by Oppo Mobile company during a joint-placement drive held on its premises.

Three senior executives headed by Bhanu Sharma (HR Manager) visited the college and a large number of students from Guru Nanak Dev University and different colleges of the region participated in the placement drive.

The selection process started with pre-placement talk through power point presentation about the company. This was followed by a group discussion in which 16 students were shortlisted. Thereafter, a personal interview round was conducted in which 10 students were shortlisted for the final round that was held at the company’s corporate office in Ludhiana. Finally, 6 MBA students got the opportunity to work with the company including 3 students from CKDIMT namely, Gaurav Sharma, Gurwinder Singh and Mandeep Singh. The selected students were offered a package of Rs 20,000 per month plus accommodation as Management Trainee.

After completion of 6 months of the training period, they shall be promoted as team leaders with substantial increase in their salaries.

CKIMDT president Charanjit Singh Chadha said such recruitment drives propel the career of students in the respective industries. These types of drives help students to showcase their skills and help them to bring out their capabilities, he added.
