20 booked for blocking road

As many as 20 leaders of the Anti Corruption Morcha (ACM) along with residents of Nandpur village have been booked for blocking a national highway on Monday. The accused had staged a dharna in front of Sarhali police station, 22 km from here, blocking the highway. Sarhali SHO, Inspector Kanwalpreet Singh  said the protesters had created a trouble for commuters. The accused are at large, he added. — OC
