A three-day workshop organised by Kids Care Everywhere (KCE), a US-based organisation, concluded at Government Medical College (GMC) here today. During the workshop, a team of the KCE trained as many as 185 doctors in the use of newly launched mobile application “PEMSoft”.
The KCE also donated mobile application free of cost to all doctors and interns, who underwent training. The 13-member KCE team, which conducted the three day training session, includes Victor Silvestre, MD, KCE board member; Bianca Maron, programme director; Drew Kemp, board member; Noemi Johansson-Miller; Ron Dieckmann, KCE founder and executive director; Monica McMillan and others.
Associate professor (Paediatrics), GMC, Dr Ashwani Sareen, said, “PEMSoft has been designed by paediatricians and other medical specialists. The clinical information resource covers the entire spectrum of neo-natal, infant, childhood, adolescence and young adult health.” He added that the application helped in making clinical decisions faster.
