164 MBA students get job offer letters

AMRITSAR: As many as 164 MBA students of Guru Nanak Dev University have been placed till now. The students will be joining their jobs in the month of June-July after passing out their respective courses in May 2019.

As many as 164 MBA students of Guru Nanak Dev University have been placed till now. The students will be joining their jobs in the month of June-July after passing out their respective courses in May 2019.

These multinational brands include HDFC Bank, HDFC Mutual Funds, ICICI Prudential, Berger Paints, IOL Chemicals, Jaro Education, Azure Power, Bandhan Bank, S&P Finance, SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Allianz, Apollo Munich and others.

The highest salary package was Rs 6 lakh per annum offered by Azure Power. Students of MBA 1st year got summer internship offers in companies like HDFC Bank, Jaro Education, USA International, J Marathon and Berger Paints.

In total, 702 students of Guru Nanak Dev University from batch 2019 have been placed till now. These students are from main campus Amritsar as well as the regional campuses and constituent colleges of Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Sathiala and Mukandpur. Vice-Chancellor Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated the faculty of management and students for this great success. He also appreciated the efforts of the placement department.
