Annual day at Sanskriti School

The primary wing of Jammu Sanskriti Schoolon Tuesday celebrated its annual day with enthusiasm at Baba Jitti Auditorium, Sher-e-Kashmir Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST)-Jammu. Shailendra Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer, J&K was the chief guest while Shrikant Suse, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), South and Balwant Thakur were the guests of honour. The theme of the annual day function was "Manan". Students of the school presented colourful cultural items to mark the occasion. Chairman of the school, Harpreet Anand and principal-cum-vice-chairperson, Rohini Aima were also present.

Book on psychology released

Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu (JU), on Tuesday released a book entitled, "Forensic Psychology" written by Dr Chandra Shekhar from department of psychology, JU, and Pooja Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dhar said forensic psychology had turned out to be an important focal point of medical practice. Dr Shekhar apprised the Vice-Chancellor that the book was supposed to serve as an introduction and information to the appreciation and perception of the vast historical, contemporary, an future relationship between the world of forensic sciences and psychology.
