Amritsar, November 17

The district administration has extended the schedule of light and sound shows, dedicated to the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev being organised at Beas, for one more day in view of the public demand. As per the original programme, the state government had scheduled three days for the show at Beas from November 14 to 16.

SDM Sumit Mudh said the government had decided to organise another show at the place on November 18 as many people, who could not watch the show due to jampacked arena, wanted it.

The one-hour show is being organised at a scenic spot alongside the riverbed. The administration had prepared a passage for the venue. — TNS
