Saint Francis girl breaks 37-yr-old record

Tarn Taran: Jasmeen Kaur (inset) of the local Saint Francis School, who got 97.6% marks in the ICSE Class X examinations, has broken the 37-year-old record of her own school. The school authorities said Jasmeen Kaur got 100% marks in the subject of physical education, 99 marks each in the subjects of science, social sciences and Punjabi, 97 in maths and 91 in English.

Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Singh, managing director of the local Punjab Children Academy, said the institution had achieved 100% results with the top scorer achieving 96.8% marks and 16 other students scoring over 90%. — OC
