Rs 55K snatched from finance firm employee

Two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a cash bag containing Rs 55,470 in cash from an employee of a finance company in Garhdiwala here.

The police have registered a case in this regard. As per information, Rajwinder Singh, a resident of Dakoha village in Gurdaspur district has filed a complaint with the police.

He said he was working with a Gurdaspur-based finance company. Two persons on a motorcycle snatched the bag from him and fled the spot when he was returning to Gurdaspur after collecting money.

He said the bag contained Rs 55,470 in cash. The police have registered a case under Sections 379-B and 34 of the IPC.
