Over 7K to appear for PSTET

Amritsar, January 18

More than 7,600 candidates will appear for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2018 at nine centres in the city on Sunday. The PSTET will be conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB).

The PSTET will be held in two sessions at seven centres. The morning session will commence at 10 am and in the evening session, the test will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

The nodal centre for the PSTET has been made at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mall Road.

The State Council of Education, Research and Training (SCERT) has asked the PSEB to conduct the test. Besides, the SCERT has paid Rs180 per candidate to the Board for making arrangement for staff and providing pen and stationery. Each candidate had to pay over Rs600 as a fee to appear for the test.— TNS
