Baldev Singh Sirsa, president of the Lok Bhalai Insaf Welfare Society, said ignoring the stir of farmers by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his priority. He preferred to please the corporate sector at the cost of annoying the hard working farmers who form the bulwark of all sections of the entire country and toil hard in the fields for the rest of the people. He demanded that the Union government should immediately withdraw the three legislations on farming recently passed by the Parliament. TNS
