Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu to rescue of craftsmen

A day after The Tribune highlighted the plight of the thathera community (utensil-makers) amid the Covid-19 lockdown, former legislator Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Monday visited their locality in Jandiala Guru and distributed ration kits among nealy 200 families.

“After reading about the hardships being faced by them due to the lockdown, I decided to provide them with essentials,” she said. — TNS
