Another camp to clear inteqal cases on Jan 15

After the successful conduct of a camp to clear the backlog of inteqal cases last week, the district administration has scheduled another camp in this regard on January 15.

Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said to ensure disposal of pending inteqal (mutation) cases, which have been pending for a long time in various tehsils and sub-tehsils of the district, another special camp will be organized. Earlier, the camp was held on January 6.

He said instructions have been issued to the officials and employees in this regard that they would ensure the settlement of pending cases. He appealed to people to take maximum advantage of these camps.

Meanwhile, Amanjit Singh, Tehsildar of Amritsar-II, said copies of 241 mutations were not presented by Patwaris during the last camp. So they had been asked to present these at the offices of Tehsildars on priority to dispose them.
