Alia Bhatt rubbishes reports of being injured on ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ sets: Do clarify next time

“To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt myself on the sets of my film.. they are NOT true”, says actress Alia Bhatt after reports of her being injured on the sets of her upcoming film, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.

The 26-year-old actress shared the news via her Instagram account. Alia revealed that it was an old injury that was acting up.

Alia penned: “To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt myself on the sets of my film.. they are NOT true..”

“This is an old injury that has been acting up for a while and just gave way one day at HOME.. No accident or nothing.. pls pls do clarify next time before printing long long articles on what happened to me..”

“Having said that thanks to few days of complete rest and being horizontal I'm back in action and am resuming shoot from today! Thank you for all the get well soon messages :) as i have got wel very very soon”, said Alia.

Earlier, the actress shared a picture of herself snuggled in a blanket with her pet cat, Eddie.

She captioned the video: “Selfie time with mommy cause she's hurt her back and has nothing better to do at 2 am… Eddie and mommy (2020)', and more updates form the world of entertainment...”

On the other hand, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is the story of a real-life character from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai.

The film, which went on floors on December 27 last year will follow the rise of the real-life person to one of the most respected brothel owners of Mumbai. It is scheduled to release on September 11.
