Yuvraj Pandit blanked Pratham Goyal 9-0 to move into the final round of the boys’ U-18 qualifiers on the opening day of the CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament here on Saturday.

Yash Solanki was awarded a walkover against Sarthak Arora, while Nishank Thakur registered a 9-3 win over Keshav Dangi. Smarbir Singh Sidhu drubbed Tarun Sharma 9-0. 

Aarav Singh Gill edged past Arnav Malik 9-1. Aditya Chauhan downed Parth Goel 9-3 while Harmanjot Singh prevailed 9-8(6) over Rijul Bhatia. 

Rakshit Dhankar blanked Amritpal Singh, while Abhay Mohan got the better of Kartik Sunil Kumar. Lakshay Gupta dispatched Yogesh Kumar 9-3. 

Asav Kumar dumped Ojas Chaudhary 9-0. Shubh Negi humbled Pankaj Kumar 9-6, while Darshan Dilbag registered an identical win over Nitin Singh Roy. 

Dhairya Chadha made it to the final qualifying round with a 9-5 win over Nalin Arora. Akash Srinivasan mastered Gurpuneet Singh 9-1 and Aarush Sharma ousted Hardik Tuli 9-2. 

In the only match played in the girls’ U-18 category, Kaavya Shankar defeated Vishita Jhorar 9-5.
