Patiala, February 13
The School of Management Studies, Punjabi University (PU), started a two-day national workshop on entrepreneurship, empowerment and skill development today.
The PU Vice-Chancellor (VC), Prof BS Ghuman, said, “Entrepreneurs require a pragmatic and a potential market-oriented approach for growth. Research-based innovative ideas constitute the base of a successful venture.”
“We also should keep in mind the labour and capital components for any project while focusing on socio-cultural values of society in context,” he added.
Director of the workshop, Dr Pushpinder Gill, said, “The prevailing way of conducting business has become redundant and obsolete. Entrepreneurship and digitalisation have shaped business into a home affair than an industry.”
