Around 1,500 workers under various federations of the state government gathered today at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall to devise an action against anti-worker policies of the government.

Members of the Punjab Subordinate Services Federation, Democratic Employees Federation, Karamchaari Dal, Thermal Plant Federation, Water and Sanitation Federation and Roadways workers had organised the state-level convention in which they had formed a committee, Punjab-Union Territory Employees and Pensioners Sangharsh Action Committee. All federation members under the committee would organize a state-level protest march at all district headquarters on January 30. TNS
