A 29-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide here recently.
The victim's family alleged that her in-laws were harassing her and asking for more dowry. The police have arrested Bhikam Ram and his wife in the case.
In her complaint to the police, Bharti, the victim's sister, said her sister got married to Chander Prakash of Rieur village in 2010. She was being harassed since then, which forced her to take the extreme step.
Mandi SP Gurdev Chand Sharma said a case had been registered and further investigation were on.
