LUDHIANA: Even after losing the Dakha bypoll, Congress candidate Captain Sandeep Singh Sandhu said he would continue working for people of the area.

Even after losing the Dakha bypoll, Congress candidate Captain Sandeep Singh Sandhu said he would continue working for people of the area. He thanked the people of the constituency, Congress workers and leaders for supporting him.

He said the party office in Dakha would remain operational and he would keep working for the people

The Congress had got around 28,571 votes in Dakha constituency in 2017. However, the party’s performance has improved in the constituency, as Sandhu got 51,625 votes in the bypoll.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu said, “Sandeep Singh Sandhu will remain in Dakha constituency and assure development of the area.”
