Potholes dot roads in the interior areas of Shastri Nagar. Though the Roads and Building (R&B) Department had blacktopped the road, due to poor quality of material used, within a few months they are again in bad shape. Dug-up roads pose threat

Laying of underground sewerage lines was welcomed by residents, but at many places the dug-up roads and lanes to lay out pipes have not been repaired, thus posing a danger to public. At Rehari Chungi, for months we are awaiting repair work, but nothing has been done. For shopkeepers the problem is even more. It is our request to the department concerned and the JMC to carry out repairs. Tinku Sharma, Rehari Colony
