A video of objectionable chat reportedly by a local doctor with a female patient today went viral on the social media.
The video was posted by a person claiming himself as the NRI husband of the woman, living in Kuwait. It went viral on WhatsApp.
Dr Rajinder, former president of the IMA unit, said if the doctor was found guilty on the issue, the association would not support him.
In the video, the husband of the woman has threatened to beat up the doctor and said that the family would take action against him.
In viral video, the chat could be seen and the voice-over could be heard. The person giving the voice-over alleged that his wife had gone to the accused doctor of Hoshiarpur for treatment.
He alleged that the details and mobile number of the patient was noted by the staff there.
It was alleged that the woman’s number was taken by the doctor from there and he started WhatsApp chatting with her on the pretext of illness-related information.
In fact, WhatsApp on the number was being used by her husband. He started answering the chat.
In the video, it is seen that the doctor asked the woman patient to come to him wearing pyjamas. Not only that, the photo of the accused doctor was also sent during the chat.
It was allegedly sent after being asked for it. The mobile number on which the chatting was done could not be contacted even after repeated attempts.
