Sector 17 traders begin protest

CHANDIGARH: Traders of Sector 17 have started their protest against vendors in the market. They initiated protest under the banner of the joint action committee of Sector 17 traders.

Traders of Sector 17 have started their protest against vendors in the market. They initiated protest under the banner of the joint action committee of Sector 17 traders. The committee president, Neeraj Bajaj, said in the first phase traders observed blackout and also took out mashal march. 

Another trader Jagdish Pal Singh Kalra said the number of vendors was increasing in the Sector 17 market with each passing day, but no one was bothered about them. The protest would continue till all vendors were not removed from Sector 17, he added.
