Sirsa, April 18

Teachers at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) here complained at the CM window about uprooting of gardens outside their houses on the campus.

Gardens outside D-category flats have been uprooted.

The university authorities claim gardens were encroachments upon the parking space. The university plans to develop parking space outside houses and install paver blocks.

Teachers, however, refuted the allegation of encroaching upon the parking space. They say the gardens were a result of their hard work over the years.

Satish Vij, Executive Engineer, CDLU, said: “There was nothing, but wild growth encroaching on parking space and leaving little space for two-wheelers to move.”
