UP cops pick up developer

The UP police today picked up a city-based developer, who faces a fraud case, from near the PAU gate no. 8. There was panic when the UP police, in civvies and uniform, stopped their vehicle near the Innova of the developer.

Meanwhile, someone, who took the developer’s arrest for a kidnapping attempt, called up the police control room.

Division 5 SHO Richa said the developer, who was rounded up by the UP police, was identified as Rajnish Thakur. He was booked by the UP police in a fraud case on August 12, 2019.
