Two national-level workshops on environment studies and economics discipline were organised from March 25 to March 29 at the Central University of Punjab.

These workshops were organised by Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) of the university under the MHRD flagship programme Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching.

Dr Vinod Arya, coordinator, TLC, said, “The objective of these workshops is to enhance the teaching and learning potential with a multidisciplinary approach. Around 60 candidates representing 32 national institutions from 11 states participated in these workshops.”

The workshop in economic discipline under TLC was conducted on the theme 'Indian Economy and Society in the 21st Century’. It started with the keynote speech of Prof Sukhpal Singh from the IIM, Ahmedabad. — TNS
